I don’t like reading but I’m curious

I don’t have enough time, patience or mental health to sit quietly and read for a long time (on most days, 30 minutes = long time for uninterrupted reading).

But every day I have so many questions I want to learn more about. Even fun social media accounts throw interestingly titled articles at me and I never say no to giving them a try. But they are sooo long and very often they either don’t directly answer the title question or just touch upon answering it in one of the paragraphs. When youtubers do this for click bait I am fine with it because I expect it but when I open an article to learn more about becoming a better thinker or to learn more about space, it is a true disappointment.

So this is why, if I ever write, I will not start with crazy, artsy beginnings and I will get to the point right away. Similarly, I will not ask my students to blabber around in their essay introductions.

Before that happens I have to find a strategy to avoid disappointment like this.
